Fast Franchise: The Biggest Shark Jump In Movies?

The Fast & The Furious franchise is the subject of a lot of memes and jokes around the internet in the past twenty years, each film brings new content. It get’s a bad rep of stone like acting, or just over the top antics. I personally have not seen any of the Fast films in a few years, so maybe my memory is just serving me wrong, but I always remembered having a lot of fun with these movies. So just for you all reading, we are going to do our third series review, this time, of the Fast and Furious Franchise.

Mortal Kombat: Is The Third Time A Charm?

It’s not like 2021 had anything it had to live up too. I knew the moment this first trailer dropped that this movie would be incredibly bad, or good enough to be a success. I never had any thoughts that this would be the best game to movie created, just because of how cheesy it looked.

Mad Max: Dystopian Insanity

Mad Max, the series that unarguably placed Mel Gibson on the radar of most Hollywood franchises with his budding career. According to wikipedia and other sources, Mad Max came to be from the mind of George Miller when he was a doctor in Sydney, Australia while working in an ER. Miller saw all forms of injuries and even deaths that inspired some of the same ones in the films.

Transformers: A Series of Baysplosions

Transformers. I remember when this was announced, I was incredibly hyped. I played with Transformers as a kid, I watched the Transformers cartoons, Beast Wars was the coolest. So when it was announced, I was so excited to see these big robots on screen and kicking all the Deception butt.  But man on man how reality changes expectation.

Godzilla Vs. Kong: Monster Movies Done Right.

Who doesn’t love a monster movie? Big monsters just destroying everything in their path for no discernible reason. Fighting other big monsters, even fighting the humans trying to stop the big monsters. For decades, big monster movies have always done fairly well in cinema; even if they were not particularly good movies. People just want to watch big monsters wrecking everything, and I get it, I am one of those guilty parties.

Sonic The Hedgehog: Game to Movie Mold Breaker?

April 30th, 2019 was a simpler time, a time when the world was none the wiser of the impending global pandemic, a time when Tiger King was but a sparkle in the eye of Netflix. On this day, a trailer released that would both bring tears of joy, and mainly just tears.

Rampage: Can Dwayne Johnson Make Anything A Hit?

More often than not, when a studio releases news that they are adapting a video game into a movie I just say ‘meh’ and move on. Maybe I will watch it, maybe it just doesn’t appeal to me. I know that in most cases, it’s not going to work out the way that the studios envision. May that be the casting, or the writing, and even the directing. Sometimes, films from video game media could just be the fact that that game or genre, does not work as a movie.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League

Zack Snyder’s Justice League had been rumored pretty much since the 2017 Justice League was released to…not the best reviews. It came out, This is a four hour film; so I am going to do my best to cover all four hours, in a small enough and as spoiler free article as I can that doesn’t bore you to death.

The Suicide Squad 2 Trailer Released!

It’s here! We have been waiting months and months for this; James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) has released the trailer for his version of The Suicide Squad. Now as we all remember, the David Ayer version of this movie released in 2016; was a cluster of bad decisions. The cast was fairly well received,... Continue Reading →

X-Men: Dark Phoenix, A Marvel Failure?

I attempt to go into films that I have heard bad things about, with incredibly low expectations and this was one of those films. I thought to myself “it cannot be as bad as everyone has said it is.” Boy….was I wrong. This film, it was rough.
